Scarborough is one of the biggest cities in Ontario, home to roughly 600,000 people. Whether your gala or fundraiser is at Guild Park and Gardens, Toronto Zoo or a family home, your MacroSnaps crew arrives early to check light, angles and any venue rules. Scarborough is one of Toronto's most diverse areas, so much of its event work is multicultural weddings, banquets and community celebrations, along with university events at U of T Scarborough. The Scarborough Bluffs along Lake Ontario are a signature backdrop in summer and early fall, ideally photographed at sunrise or late afternoon.

We work closely with your development and communications teams before the event. A shot list of VIPs, board members, sponsors and honorees lets us make sure the people who matter most to your organization are photographed, and the full gallery is retouched and usually ready in about one week. A highlight video can also be used to open next year's event or support your fundraising appeal.

For a typical gala or fundraiser, clients in Scarborough book about 5 hours of photography ($650) and 4 hours of videography ($900). Photography is $250 for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour; videography is $300 for the first hour and $200 for each additional hour, with a 2-hour minimum. The first-hour price includes travel, so Scarborough costs the same as anywhere else we work, and there are no quotes to wait for.
