Rehearsal Dinner & Welcome Party Photography & Videography

Rehearsal dinner and wedding welcome party photography and video: toasts, family, guests and the start of your wedding weekend. Open hourly pricing.

Your rehearsal dinners & welcome parties celebration photographed and filmed with care

The night before the wedding is often the most relaxed part of the weekend. Families meet properly, friends arrive from out of town and the toasts tend to be more personal than at the reception. MacroSnaps photographers and videographers cover rehearsal dinners and welcome parties so this evening is part of your wedding story, not just a few phone photos.

We can cover the ceremony rehearsal itself, the dinner that follows, or a casual welcome party for all your guests. We focus on the people: both families together, the wedding party, grandparents and friends who have travelled, and the speeches from parents and close friends. Coverage is easy to add to your wedding day booking or to book on its own, with the same photographer or crew where schedules allow.

Our prices are listed openly and are the same for every couple: photography is $250 for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour, and videography is $300 for the first hour and $200 for each additional hour, with a two-hour minimum. You can book and pay online. MacroSnaps is part of MacroHype LLC, working with couples since 2011, and is insured through State Farm, with certificates of insurance for restaurants and venues.

Planning tips

How to plan your coverage

Book 2 to 3 hours

Most rehearsal dinners are well covered in 2 to 3 hours, from arrivals through the toasts. Add an hour if you want the ceremony rehearsal covered too.

Schedule toasts early

Holding speeches soon after the meal starts keeps coverage shorter and makes sure everyone is still there to hear them.

Make a short group-photo list

Note the combinations you want, such as both families, grandparents and the wedding party. A list keeps group photos to a few minutes.

Record the speeches on video

The night-before toasts are worth keeping with sound. A videographer can also include them in your wedding highlight video if you book both days.

Professional photography doesn't have to be expensive
