How MacroSnaps helps restaurants & cafés
People decide where to eat with their eyes, usually on a phone. Your photos on Google, Instagram, Uber Eats and your own website do the work a host and a menu used to do. When the dishes look flat or the only interior shot is a dim phone photo, guests pick the place down the street.
MacroSnaps food photographers and videographers come to your restaurant or café and shoot your actual dishes, drinks, dining room and team. We work with your kitchen to plate each item, light it properly and capture it quickly, so food goes from the pass to the camera while it still looks fresh. Most shoots happen before opening or between lunch and dinner service.
The same visit can produce menu photos, delivery app images, interior shots, a chef story video and short clips for Instagram and TikTok. We also produce ad spots for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Google, plus broadcast-ready commercials for local TV. Edited photos arrive in about a week and videos in two to four weeks, so new dishes can go live quickly.
The challenge
What restaurants & cafés need from photos & video
Delivery apps reward good photos
On Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub, the photo is often the only thing a customer sees before ordering. Every item needs a clear, appetizing image in the right format.
Menus change often
Seasonal dishes, specials and new cocktails need fresh photos. A repeatable lighting setup keeps new shots consistent with the ones you already have.
The room sells the reservation
For date nights, private events and brunch crowds, guests want to see the atmosphere: the bar, the patio, the lighting at dinner. That takes more than a quick phone photo.

FAQ
Restaurants & Cafés: common questions
How many dishes can you photograph in a session?
It depends on how quickly the kitchen can plate and how much styling each dish needs. A two-hour session usually covers a focused menu plus a few interior shots; full menus and video need more time. We'll help you plan the order.
Do you bring a food stylist?
Our photographers handle basic styling and arrangement with your chef. For heavily styled advertising work, we can add a stylist as part of a custom quote.
Can you shoot during service?
We recommend shooting dishes before opening or between lunch and dinner. Atmosphere photos with guests can be taken during service if your guests are comfortable with it.
Can you make a TV commercial for our restaurant?
Yes. We produce broadcast-ready commercials for local TV along with cut-downs for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. We produce the spot; airtime is purchased separately.
What does restaurant photography cost?
Photography is $250 for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour with a two-hour minimum. Video is $300 for the first hour and $200 for each additional hour. Multi-day or ad campaign shoots get a custom quote.
