Proposals depend on planning. We agree on the exact location, a signal and where we'll be standing, often posing as a passer-by, so we're ready the moment you go down on one knee. Afterward, we take time for portraits of the newly engaged couple and close-up photos of the ring. Engagement parties are more relaxed, with candid photos, family portraits and speeches.

For a typical engagement party or proposal, clients in Scarborough book about 2 hours of photography ($350) and 2 hours of videography ($500). Photography is $250 for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour; videography is $300 for the first hour and $200 for each additional hour, with a 2-hour minimum. The first-hour price includes travel, so Scarborough costs the same as anywhere else we work, and there are no quotes to wait for.
