Couples and event planners shortlist venues from photos. They want to see the room empty so they can picture their own design, the room set for a wedding or a gala, and the room full of people having a good time. Most venues only have one of the three, and it is often a few years old.
MacroSnaps photographs and films ballrooms, barns, lofts, rooftops, estates, galleries and private dining rooms. We shoot your spaces empty and styled, create Matterport 3D tours for remote planners (available in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, DC, New York and New Jersey), and can cover real weddings and events held at your venue with the hosts' agreement. Seasonal shoots keep gardens, terraces and outdoor ceremony sites current throughout the year.
Because our photographers already cover weddings, conferences and corporate events across the US, Ontario and Quebec, we know which angles planners look for and which details couples ask about: ceiling height, natural light, ceremony sight lines, the bar and the getting-ready rooms. Prices published, not negotiated
Many vendors price by how much they think you can pay. We publish every rate: photography is $250 for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour, videography is $300 for the first hour and $200 for each additional hour, with a 2-hour minimum. Everyone pays the same price.
Insured by State Farm
We carry $1 million per occurrence and $2 million general aggregate liability coverage. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance, we send it before your event.

Event & Wedding Venues: common questions
Can you photograph a real wedding at our venue for marketing?
Yes, if the couple agrees. Many venues ask their couples for permission and we coordinate with the couple's own photographer so we do not get in the way.
Do you organize styled shoots?
We photograph and film styled shoots arranged with your preferred florists, rental companies and planners. Larger styled productions are quoted individually.
Do you offer 3D virtual tours?
Yes, in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, DC, New York and New Jersey. We create Matterport tours of venues, which planners can share with their clients and use to plan layouts. Tours are priced by the size of the space, from $200 for up to 1,000 sq ft.
What does a venue shoot cost?
Photography is $250 for the first hour plus $100 for each additional hour, two-hour minimum. Video is $300 for the first hour plus $200 for each additional hour. 3D tours are priced by the size of the space, from $200 for up to 1,000 sq ft, in VA, MD, DC, NY and NJ.
