How MacroSnaps helps government & public sector
Public agencies have to show their work. A press conference, a swearing-in, a ribbon cutting or a community town hall is part of the public record, and the photos and video from it end up on agency websites, in press releases, in annual reports and on social media. Communications offices need a crew that arrives on time, follows protocol, stays out of the way of officials and press, and delivers usable files without a long back-and-forth.
MacroSnaps photographs and films events for federal, state and local agencies: press conferences and media availabilities, public meetings and hearings, swearing-in and oath-of-office ceremonies, town halls, agency conferences and summits, award ceremonies, ribbon cuttings and site visits. We also produce training and explainer videos and official headshots and portraits for leadership pages and directories. Our crews dress for the setting, work quietly around podiums, flags and press risers, and follow your communications team's guidance on who and what can be photographed.
Our Washington, DC office is downtown at 1300 I St NW, and our New York City studio is in Times Square, with our own photographers and videographers across every US state, Washington, DC, Ontario and Quebec. Prices are published and the same for every client, every shoot is insured through State Farm ($1 million per occurrence, $2 million aggregate), and we send a certificate of insurance for your venue or building on request. Bookings need 48 hours' notice.
The challenge
What government & public sector need from photos & video
Events run on a tight protocol
Officials arrive on a schedule, press needs clear sight lines and the order of program cannot slip. Our crew reviews the run-of-show in advance and positions itself so it never blocks a camera, a podium or an exit.
Content has to be ready for the public record
Photos and video go into press releases, websites, reports and social posts. They need accurate captions, consistent framing of officials and files organized so your staff can find each speaker and moment.
Professional conduct in sensitive settings
Hearings, ceremonies and community meetings call for discretion. Our photographers and videographers dress appropriately, follow your guidance on restricted areas and people, and keep a low profile throughout.
