Terms and Conditions
Version 2026-11-07. Every client reviews and signs these terms when booking.
1. Scope of Services
MacroSnaps provides professional photography and videography services for events and projects as agreed upon in each client booking. Services include on-site coverage and post-production editing according to professional standards.
2. Copyright & Ownership
All photographs, videos, and related digital content remain the exclusive property of MacroSnaps. Clients receive a personal, non-commercial usage license. Commercial use, resale, redistribution, or editing without written consent is prohibited.
3. Model Release
By booking with MacroSnaps, clients grant permission for images and video clips to be used for portfolio display, marketing, social media, or promotional purposes unless a written opt-out is provided prior to the shoot.
4. Printing Rights
Prints are not included in the service price. Clients may print delivered images through third-party platforms for personal use only. MacroSnaps is not responsible for variations in print color or quality from outside vendors.
5. Permissions & Venue Access
Clients are responsible for securing all required permissions or permits for photography/videography at event locations. MacroSnaps will not be held liable for limitations or restrictions imposed by venues or event organizers.
6. Exclusive Photographer
To ensure consistency and creative control, no other professional or amateur photographers or videographers are permitted to operate during the event without MacroSnaps' prior consent.
7. Artistic Rights
MacroSnaps retains full artistic control over image composition, color grading, and editing style. Final images reflect the photographer's creative judgment and are not subject to revision based on personal taste. The one exception: each highlight video includes one round of re-edits, requested within 14 days of delivery.
8. File Storage
Edited digital files are stored for up to 30 days after delivery. Clients are encouraged to download and back up their media promptly, as long-term storage is not guaranteed.
9. Refund Policy
All retainers and booking fees are non-refundable, as they secure the date and professional commitment of the MacroSnaps team. Refunds are only issued if MacroSnaps is unable to perform services due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, equipment failure, or events beyond control). In such cases, clients will receive a full refund of all payments made. Cancellations by the client for any reason will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
10. Indemnification
Clients agree to hold MacroSnaps harmless against any claims, losses, or damages resulting from venue restrictions, accidents, data loss, or conditions beyond the photographer's reasonable control.
