A bridal shower or bachelorette party brings together the people closest to the bride, often for the first time before the wedding: mothers, grandmothers, sisters, bridesmaids and old friends. MacroSnaps photographers and videographers cover showers, brunches and bachelorette dinners and nights out, so the bride and the hosts can enjoy the day instead of passing phones around.

At a shower we focus on the guests and the program: the welcome, the games, the gift-opening and the décor the hosts worked hard on. For a bachelorette we keep things fun and relaxed, with group photos while everyone still looks fresh, candid photos at dinner and the first part of the night out. Tell us anything you'd rather keep off camera and we'll respect it.

Our prices are listed openly and are the same for every client: photography is $250 for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour, and videography is $300 for the first hour and $200 for each additional hour, with a two-hour minimum. Hosts can book and pay online without requesting a quote. MacroSnaps has more than 13 years of experience and is insured through State Farm, with certificates of insurance for venues and restaurants.

How to plan your coverage

Book 2 to 3 hours

Most showers are well covered in 2 to 3 hours, from arrivals through the gift-opening. For a bachelorette, 2 hours usually covers getting together, group photos and dinner.

Plan the gift-opening spot

Put the bride's chair near a window or in good light with space for guests to gather around. It makes a noticeable difference to the photos.

Check venue rules

Some restaurants and bars limit photography or ask for a certificate of insurance. Let us know the venue in advance so we can sort this out before the day.

Add video for toasts and games

A short highlight video set to music you choose captures the speeches and the energy of the games, and makes a good gift for the bride.
