For engagement parties, we cover the couple, the toasts and the first time both families celebrate together, including any traditions your families bring to the occasion.

We cover engagement party or proposal events at event and banquet venues across the area, from The Plaza Hotel, American Museum of Natural History and Cipriani 42nd Street to private homes, restaurants and community halls.

Proposals depend on planning. We agree on the exact location, a signal and where we'll be standing, often posing as a passer-by, so we're ready the moment you go down on one knee. Afterward, we take time for portraits of the newly engaged couple and close-up photos of the ring. Engagement parties are more relaxed, with candid photos, family portraits and speeches.

For a typical engagement party or proposal, clients in New York City book about 2 hours of photography ($350) and 2 hours of videography ($500). Photography is $250 for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour; videography is $300 for the first hour and $200 for each additional hour, with a 2-hour minimum. The first-hour price includes travel, so New York City costs the same as anywhere else we work, and there are no quotes to wait for.
