Retirement & Farewell Parties in Cincinnati: photography & video

A retirement party marks the end of a career that may have lasted decades, and it brings together colleagues, former team members, family and friends who rarely share a room. MacroSnaps photographers and videographers cover retirement and farewell parties hosted by companies, departments and families, from an office send-off to a restaurant dinner or banquet hall celebration.

Cincinnati is a major city in Ohio, home to roughly 297,000 people. We cover retirement party events at hotel ballrooms, museums and event venues across the area, from Cincinnati Art Museum, Union Terminal (Cincinnati Museum Center) and Krohn Conservatory to private homes, restaurants and community halls. Cincinnati is headquarters to Procter & Gamble, Kroger and other major firms, so consumer-goods, retail and financial meetings fill its convention center and downtown hotels. Historic architecture in Over-the-Rhine and along the Ohio River makes for strong backdrops, with spring and fall the most comfortable outdoor seasons.

The heart of these events is the tributes: speeches from managers and colleagues, stories from family, the slideshow of photos from earlier years and the retiree's own words at the end. We make sure those moments are covered, along with group photos with each team and generation of colleagues, and candid photos of people reconnecting. Tell us who should be in the gallery and we'll find them.

For a typical retirement party, clients in Cincinnati book about 3 hours of photography ($450) and 2 hours of videography ($500). Photography is $250 for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour; videography is $300 for the first hour and $200 for each additional hour, with a 2-hour minimum. The first-hour price includes travel, so Cincinnati costs the same as anywhere else we work, and there are no quotes to wait for.
