Jewish Wedding Photographers in Missouri

MacroSnaps covers Jewish wedding celebrations throughout Missouri, from Kansas City, St. Louis and Springfield to smaller communities across the state. We are one company with our own photographers and videographers, not a marketplace, so every Jewish wedding in Missouri gets the same standards, prices and delivery times.

A Jewish wedding moves through a sequence of rituals that each happen once and quickly: the tish and the bedeken, the ketubah signing, the chuppah with the seven blessings and the breaking of the glass, then a reception that often starts with the hora and chairs in the air. MacroSnaps photographers and videographers follow that order closely, so the moments you have planned for months are in place in your gallery.

Choose your city below for local venues, typical coverage and answers to common questions, or book directly online. A typical Jewish wedding is about 7 hours of photography ($850) and 6 hours of videography ($1,300).

What we capture

Key moments we photograph and film in Missouri

01

Tish and kabbalat panim

The groom's table with singing and the l'chaim, and the bride's reception with family and friends, covered in both rooms where we have two shooters.

02

Ketubah signing

The rabbi, the witnesses and the couple with the ketubah, photographed closely so the text and artwork are part of the story.

03

Bedeken

The groom lowering the veil over the bride, often accompanied by singing and blessings from parents, a short and emotional moment.

04

Chuppah and the circling

The processional, the bride circling the groom, the rings and the reading of the ketubah, photographed from positions agreed with your rabbi.

05

Seven blessings and breaking the glass

The sheva brachot recited by honored guests, and the breaking of the glass with the room's shout of mazel tov.

06

Yichud

We give the couple their private time together and photograph them as they leave the room, along with portraits afterward if you like.

07

Hora and chairs

The circle dancing and chair lifts for the couple and parents, with the mezinke for parents marrying off their last child, and the shtick and entertainment for the couple.

08

Family portraits and details

Group photos with both families, plus the ketubah, kippot, the chuppah, the tallit and the décor, photographed before guests arrive.

Planning tips

Planning your coverage in Missouri

Check the date against Shabbat and holidays

If your wedding is on a Saturday night or near a holiday, tell us when Shabbat or the holiday ends. We plan the schedule so portraits and coverage start only when you are comfortable.

Decide on a first look or pre-ceremony portraits

Many couples take portraits before the ceremony so the reception can start straight after the chuppah. Others wait until after yichud. Either works, but it changes how many hours to book.

Book from the tish to the dancing

Most Jewish weddings need 6 to 8 hours to cover the tish, ketubah, bedeken, chuppah and the first sets of dancing. Starting coverage at the ketubah signing usually means missing nothing important.

Add a second shooter for two rooms

The tish and the bride's reception happen at the same time, and men's and women's dancing may be on either side of a mechitza. A second photographer or videographer covers both.

Within your rabbi's guidelines. We confirm in advance where we can stand during the ceremony and keep movement to a minimum during the blessings.

Yes. We schedule coverage to begin after Shabbat ends, and plan any portraits for a time that works for you, either before Shabbat on another day or after havdalah.

When will we receive our photos and video?

Every photo is edited and retouched, and the online gallery is usually ready in about one week. Highlight videos of 3 to 8 minutes with music you choose take 2 to 4 weeks, with one re-edit included.
