An Indian wedding is rarely a single day. Between the haldi, mehndi, sangeet, baraat, ceremony and reception, there can be four or five events across a long weekend, each with its own colors, music and rituals. MacroSnaps photographers and videographers can cover one event or all of them, and we plan each day with you so the coverage follows your family's traditions rather than a generic wedding checklist.

Hindu, Sikh, Jain and regional ceremonies all follow their own order, and the most important moments, such as the jaimala, kanyadaan, the pheras around the sacred fire, the sindoor and mangalsutra, or the laavan in a gurdwara, happen quickly. We ask about your rituals in advance, coordinate with your priest or granthi and planner, and position ourselves so we capture these moments without getting in the way of the family or the officiant.

For a typical Indian wedding, clients in Sun Valley book about 6 hours of photography ($750) and 6 hours of videography ($1,300). Photography is $250 for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour; videography is $300 for the first hour and $200 for each additional hour, with a 2-hour minimum. The first-hour price includes travel, so Sun Valley costs the same as anywhere else we work, and there are no quotes to wait for.
