Graduation is a milestone for the graduate and for everyone who helped them get there: parents, grandparents, teachers and friends. MacroSnaps photographers and videographers cover both sides of the day. We photograph and film commencement ceremonies for high schools, colleges, universities and programs, and the graduation parties that families host afterward, from backyard gatherings and restaurant dinners to larger celebrations with relatives who have travelled to be there.

Memphis is one of the biggest cities in Tennessee, home to roughly 656,000 people. We cover graduation events at event and banquet venues across the area, from Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, Dixon Gallery and Gardens and Memphis Botanic Garden to private homes, restaurants and community halls.

For families, we often combine portraits on campus in cap and gown with coverage of the party later in the day, so the gallery tells the whole story. For schools and departments, we cover the procession, the speakers, each graduate crossing the stage and the celebrations on the lawn afterward. We organize the gallery in ceremony order, which makes it easier for the institution to share photos with graduates and their families.

For a typical graduation, clients in Memphis book about 3 hours of photography ($450) and 3 hours of videography ($700). Photography is $250 for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour; videography is $300 for the first hour and $200 for each additional hour, with a 2-hour minimum. The first-hour price includes travel, so Memphis costs the same as anywhere else we work, and there are no quotes to wait for.
