Graduation is a milestone for the graduate and for everyone who helped them get there: parents, grandparents, teachers and friends. MacroSnaps photographers and videographers cover both sides of the day. We photograph and film commencement ceremonies for high schools, colleges, universities and programs, and the graduation parties that families host afterward, from backyard gatherings and restaurant dinners to larger celebrations with relatives who have travelled to be there.

Joplin is a growing city in Missouri, home to roughly 52,000 people. We cover graduation events in banquet halls, hotels, places of worship, restaurants and private homes throughout Joplin and nearby Pittsburg and Miami.

For families, we often combine portraits on campus in cap and gown with coverage of the party later in the day, so the gallery tells the whole story. For schools and departments, we cover the procession, the speakers, each graduate crossing the stage and the celebrations on the lawn afterward. Photography is $250 for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour; videography is $300 for the first hour and $200 for each additional hour, with a 2-hour minimum. The first-hour price includes travel, so Joplin costs the same as anywhere else we work, and there are no quotes to wait for.
