A Chinese wedding day often starts early and runs late: the groom and his groomsmen arrive for the door games, the couple serves tea to parents and elders, there may be a Western-style ceremony, and the evening ends with a banquet of many courses, toasts at every table and two or three outfit changes. MacroSnaps photographers and videographers follow the whole day so the traditions and the fun are both recorded.

Customs vary by family and region, and many couples combine them with traditions from other cultures. For a typical Chinese or Asian wedding, clients in Paradise book about 6 hours of photography ($750) and 5 hours of videography ($1,100). Photography is $250 for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour; videography is $300 for the first hour and $200 for each additional hour, with a 2-hour minimum. The first-hour price includes travel, so Paradise costs the same as anywhere else we work, and there are no quotes to wait for.
