Bar & Bat Mitzvahs in Highlands Ranch: photography & video

A Bar or Bat Mitzvah is years of study coming together in one weekend: the Torah reading, the speeches, the hora and a party with friends and family who may have travelled a long way to be there. MacroSnaps photographers and videographers cover the whole celebration, from formal family portraits before the service to the last song on the dance floor, so you can stay present while we keep track of the moments that matter.

Highlands Ranch is a growing city in Colorado, home to roughly 97,000 people. We cover Bar or Bat Mitzvah events in banquet halls, hotels, places of worship, restaurants and private homes throughout Highlands Ranch and nearby Centennial and Littleton.

Many congregations do not allow photography during Shabbat or holiday services. We plan around your synagogue's rules from the start, usually with a pre-service portrait session at the sanctuary, on the bimah and with the Torah if your rabbi permits it. At the reception we follow the evening closely: the grand entrance, the hora with the chair lift, the candle-lighting ceremony with each honoree, and the speeches from parents and grandparents.

For a typical Bar or Bat Mitzvah, clients in Highlands Ranch book about 5 hours of photography ($650) and 4 hours of videography ($900). Photography is $250 for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour; videography is $300 for the first hour and $200 for each additional hour, with a 2-hour minimum. The first-hour price includes travel, so Highlands Ranch costs the same as anywhere else we work, and there are no quotes to wait for.
